WHO WE ARE
Austin Task, Inc. is a Texas base Social Enterprise based in Austin, Tx. We operate several businesses that support our mission by creating employment opportunities for individuals who are disabled or have other barriers to employment, as outlined in our mission statement:
“To enhance the employability and skills of individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment; through development, implementation, and operation of vocational and other business endeavors which employ, train, and develop these individuals to have productive jobs and career opportunities.”

OUR HISTORY
Austin Task, Inc. (ATI) as founded in 1995. ATI received its 501(c)3 letter of determination from the Internal Revenue in 1997. ATI provided vocational services to individuals with disabilities in Texas. ATI focused primarily in business areas that created steady jobs that provided both job stability and structure in the vocational environment.
In the new millennium, the term Social Enterprise was being given to ATI, but through it all, ATI has remained consistent with the vision. Simply put, in society, most people are identified by their name and what they do for a living. ATI helps our employees who have disabilities and other barriers to employment be recognized as valued participants in society.
Administrative Support Services
Austin Task started working with customers in 2010 to support administrative support services. These services include Mail Room administration and other general support services. Austin task has contracts with both the State of Texas as well as the Federal Government.
